The Great Himalayan Odyssey: Epic Dominar Expedition to Ladakh

 Kathmandu, 15th Oct – A historic journey is about to unfold as a group of 9 Bajaj
Dominar 400 riders prepare to embark on a 20-day expedition to Umling La, the world's
highest motorable road at 5,883 meters (19,300 feet). This monumental motorcycle
journey, titled The Great Himalayan Odyssey, will cover over 6,000 kilometers.
Starting from Bikers Café in Naxal, Kathmandu, this expedition marks a significant
milestone in the country’s motorcycling culture and will be a testament to the endurance
and resilience of both the riders and their machines.


Amit Raj Chalise, Head of Marketing at Bajaj Motorcycles, expressed his
excitement: "We are thrilled to see our Bajaj Dominar riders take on this monumental
challenge. Reaching the highest motorable road in the world, Umling La, will be a
testament to the durability of the Dominar 400 and the adventurous spirit of these riders.

The expedition is led by Manish Devkota, the team captain, who shared his
anticipation: "Reaching Umling La has been a dream for many riders, and it’s finally

in our Dominar motorcycles and our riding skills. This is not just a journey but a
