Kishan Lal Dugar Honored with 'Jain Samaj Ratna' Award

 

Kathmandu:  30th Sep: Kishan Lal Dugar, Chairman of the KL Dugar Group and a philanthropist, was honored with the 'Jain Samaj Ratna' award by Bharat Jain Mahamandal on 22 September 2024 in Mumbai, India. The award was presented by the Hon'ble Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Om Birla. Dugar is the first and only Nepali personality to receive this prestigious honor. The event was graced by the presence of the Hon'ble Speaker, Chief Justice Dhananjaya Chandrachud, and other distinguished figures from various fields.


 

 

The 'Jain Samaj Ratna' award is bestowed upon individuals who have dedicated their lives to the upliftment of society, particularly in the realm of social service within the Jain community.

 


Founded in 1899, Bharat Jain Mahamandal aims to unite the Jain community for the purpose of serving society.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z: Delivery starts from Bajaj Grand Carnival, Bhrikutimandap

 

Kathmandu, September 29: Hansraj Hulaschand & Co. Pvt Ltd, the sole authorized distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, proudly announces the deliveries of the Biggest Pulsar Ever, Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, from Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. Starting with 40 deliveries to the customers who have booked the NS 400z from NADA auto show. The Biggest Pulsar ever, NS400Z is set to revolutionize the sports motorcycle segment with its blend of power, technology, and design, offering a thrilling ride for Nepali enthusiasts.


 

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is powered by a 373-cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 39.4 bhp and 35 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip and assist clutch for effortless gear shifts and enhanced control. The motorcycle also incorporates ride-by-wire technology for precise throttle response and improved fuel efficiency.


During the Pulsar NS 400z delivery at Grand Carnival- The Biggest Exchange Camp, Bhrikutimandap, Mr. Abhimanyu Golchha, Director of Golchha Group, expressed his excitement, stating, "We are thrilled to deliver of the Biggest Pulsar Ever, Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z to the Nepali market. Regarding features, the Pulsar NS400Z is the most advanced Pulsar yet. It offers four selectable riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road – along with switchable traction control and dual-channel ABS for superior safety on all terrains. The bike also includes a new full-colour LCD screen with Bluetooth connectivity, providing turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, and other essential ride data.

Designed with a muscular and aerodynamic profile, the NS400Z features a chiselled fuel tank with sharp tank extensions, a comfortable split-seat setup, and stylish 17-inch alloy wheels. The motorcycle offers a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres and a seat height of 807 mm, making it suitable for both city rides and long-distance journeys, combining agility with stability.
